At baconeggs.com our aim is to be able to provide the small/medium-sized trader and the self-employed businessman the opportunity to exist in the land of the browser and online shop and for a cost to match their budget.
The original idea was born in 2004 when a friend wanted a website and had no idea where to start. This developed in 2005 into baconeggs.com. when PHP and SQL skills were added to the knowledge of web page programming, and fully interactive web service was then available
Our first eCommerce site followed soon afterwards
In order to provide a complete service to our clients we can now provide dedicated web space on professionally managed web servers and we able to register and manage web domain names (such as .co.uk, .eu and .com). We can also provide a full feature online payments service through our secure server, complete with a GlobalSign security seal, and including a real-time credit card verification and payment processing system if required.
We are a small company and we prefer to stay that way. There are many large web design companies who are able to offer services to the larger businesses and corporate clients who have very large and varied portfolios - and large and impressive offices and all the costs that go with that. We don't !
