Outgoing email from your website
We can now offer you a professional outbound email service – and it doesn’t cost you a penny. It’s an inclusive part of the baconeggs service
Any emails that people send to your website email address can simply be automatically forwarded on to your nominated email account
But the problem has always been that when you reply to your customers from your nominated account, it doesn’t show your web site email address which could cause confusion. So they write to you and get a reply from 'someone else'
But not any more !
With your baconeggs webspace you have three ways of dealing with your email, simply chose the one you want to use and, unless you are on our 'Basic' package, it's free
And you can have up to 50 different email addresses, depending on the web hosting package you choose. So you could have one for sales@yourwebsite.com and one for accounts@yourwebsite.com and one for each person in your business, such as your.name@yourwebsite.com. The possibilities are endless!
This is the default option. Clients contact you at your web site address and emails are forwarded to your nominated account. You reply from that nominated account, but this can be confusing as your reply be from your nominated account and will not carry your web site address
How do I apply?
You do not need to apply for the Simple Forwarding and the WebMail service. It's a standard part of our web hosting service* and we will send your WebMail password to your nominated email address shortly after your website goes live
To access WebMail, add "/webmail" to the end of your web address (eg. www.yourwebsite.com/webmail)
If you would like the Full Email service*, please contact us and ask to have the option enabled and to receive set-up instructions. There is no charge for this

Number One: Simple forwarding
Number Two: WebMail*
You send emails from a password controlled part of your web site. When the recipient receives your email, it will show your web site email address. So you keep your website name in their view and all your dealings with your client are branded with your Internet details
Number Three: Full Email service*
You can automatically download and upload your emails to and from your own pc. You can then compose and send the reply using the full power of your pc. And, just as with WebMail, the recipient will see your web site name and business email address
You will need an email program on your pc, and we recommend Mozilla Thunderbird (free) though Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express are also suitable
